Fund Overview
US Solar Fund plc (USF or the Company) is listed on the premium segment of the London Stock Exchange and aims to provide investors with attractive and sustainable dividends with an element of capital growth by investing in a diversified portfolio of solar power assets in North America and other OECD countries in the Americas.
The Company acquires, develops and/or constructs, owns and operates solar power assets that are expected to have an asset life of at least 30 years and generate stable and uncorrelated cash flows by selling electricity to creditworthy offtakers under long-term power purchase agreements (or PPAs).
USF’s portfolio consists of 41 projects across four US states with a combined capacity of 443 megawatts (MWDC). Its assets are fully operational, and power offtake agreements are in place for 100% of generation with creditworthy counterparties.
The US is a leading global solar market and is expected to experience continued strong growth, largely driven by the improving cost competitiveness of solar PV and supportive state and federal policy schemes.
US Solar Fund aims to deliver:
- an annual cash-covered dividend of 5.5 cents per share, growing at 1.5 to 2% per annum, for each financial year from 2021
- target net total return over the life of the Solar Power Assets of at least 7.5% per annum.
